Malena

i loved the soundtrack and scenery/cinematography of the movie, i hate how ppl only focus on the gross stuff like yeah its gross that we see a 15 yo play w himself but get over it. the religious symbolism and concept around malena as a character and her glorification to her downfall and the whole vibe of the movie is so good to me. ppl need to learn this movie is based in ww2 alot more things were normalized then stop whining over a minor in a brothel u baby. the whole movie and message of misogyny and woman objectification is so well played in malena, she literally looks dead the entire movie and im glad we got to see her second chance at the end the only thing i cant get over is renato looks awfully close to someone i grew up with but besides that the movie does an amazing job of getting its message across
