Nightcrawler

Thank you Imogen for the recommendation. What a film. I genuinely love Gyllenhaal and to see his best performance in a film is always a pleasure. For me this is undoubtedly the greatest role and acting he’s done. It’s also such a gripping and spine tingling crime thriller. One that perfectly captures the dark side of LA and obsession. It often felt so creepy and uncomfortable, so heavy praise to Gyllenhaal’s performance for being able to just master that criminal mastermind. Doing ANYTHING to get what he wanted. The lighting was also a key thing I picked up on, truly gorgeous and it reminded me of Drive quite a bit. Your recommendations Jake Gyllenhaal ranked V.I.P. Club
