Arrival

i literally can’t stop thinking about this movie like...... it makes me wanna get a degree in linguistics  like it’s such a contained narrative and weirdly it touches on so much, especially the awe of encountering an other lifeform and learning to communicate,  also like what if to save the planet we had to give up on our warlike thinking and work as part of whole (what if, ha!)  obviously amy adams has the range and i loved the cinematography but the sound design! the sounds design!!!! it was so immersive and every time those aliens spoke i felt it in my bones anyways don’t forget to vote for your european members of parliament this spring
