Just received an unreal mind fucking for 8+ hours. Pause.
Alex Garland is performing at his full potential with this miniseries. This was an utter masterclass in thrilling, surreal science fiction storytelling, involving a human odyssey. The cinematography displayed in this show is stunning — dare I say the best I've ever seen in any TV series. The story is wild, and it's better if I don't say anything more because it would only hinder the experience. What I will say is that it is so satisfying the way it completes itself. Nick Offerman is stellar in his role and shoulders the show with ease. Can he play a serious role? Absolutely. In fact, the whole cast is tremendous — except for Sonoya Mizuno. Unfortunately, she was the only weak point. Now to unscramble my brain.
