The perfect example of why animation will never become a failing medium. This is a movie that could not be done in a live action way. Fantastically brutal in both its depictions of psychosis and violence. It manages to blend reality and dream in a mesmerizing way, leading to a watch experience like no other. In the age of AI where you don’t know what’s real or not, another layer is added on to this already beautiful film.
