The Crow

Brandon Lee gives a beautiful performance as the titular “Crow.” He (as well as the film as a whole) manages to maintain a perfect blend of drama and comedy.  The dark, gritty atmosphere is one of my favorite backdrops to any movie. They somehow manage to make Detroit worse than it already is. The soundtrack is all also a defining feature of this film. Ranging from The Cure to the Violent Femmes, this movie is full of iconic music and it really works to set the tone of the movie.
