Harakiri

The 3rd act in this movie is a masterpiece and how everything comes together and it may be a slow start in the beginning but the dialogue is amazing even if it’s quite boring at times but you need that dialogue to make the 3rd act as good as it is and tatsuya nakadais performance is amazing and the realization that the 3 people he asked for he chopped their hair and the reason they said they were ill is cause they were too embarrassed and that the way of the Samurai is forgotten and left and he comes to show it that on of the most highly regarded samurai places is still a shit show and how he still after not fighting for around 16 years still whoops them cause he’s a true retainer of the samurai not a poser and also that he really goes through it all and some of these shots are perfect just a very well made film and really give it a chance it’s a a slow start but worth every minute of it for the 3rd act and how it all fits together perfectly.
