Punch-Drunk Love
PTA is starting to become on of my favorite directors after watching a bit more of his filmography and this movie is nothing short of genius filmmaking.The small things like the color blue is used in the entire movie, it’s obvious but now in your face annoying and one of my favorite scenes of the film is when Adam Sandler grabs the phone and calls Emily Watson(his love interest) and when she picks up the phone the phone booth lights up which is super sweet, and I also love how Paul Thomas Anderson uses Adam Sandler side profile for the most of the movie with his face always covered by a shadow.last thing is I love Philip Seymours Hoffman scene where he’s screaming at Adam Sandler found it hilarious.
