Brother Bear
Do you remember your first favorite movie? The movie you watched on repeat as a kid because it meant everything to you? The movie that made you love watching movies at just 4 years old? The one that made you dream, play, imagine a whole world different from our own? This is mine.
I don’t have a brother, but I am a brother. When I was four I wasn’t, but as I grew older and became one, this movie meant more and more to me over time. It’s so beautiful in its simple story telling, showing us to love and that we are loved by those closest to us. Its animation comes from a period of Disney I find particularly striking and beautiful. It’s full of color and movement and life! The soundtrack by Phil Collin’s is just perfect and so nostalgic. The writing simple yet beautiful, and at 22, still funny.
I love this movie so much. It will always be in my top 4. A movie that made me love movies. Like your first love, you’ll never forget.
