Arrival

Probably the greatest avengers level threat Hawkeye has had to face. ✌️ Arrival is a great somewhat realistic take on alien contact. Denis cooked on the cinematography. It's got this eerie and grungy look that expresses a grounded feeling like no other in the sci-fi genre. I also find the sound design to be outstanding and the acting performances to be amazing especially when it comes to both the human communication with the aliens and the overall global reaction to them.  I genuinely find it very hard to point out many flaws in Arrival. I guess at times the overall nature of the film is a bit ridiculous but it's a sci-fi film so has all the right to be ridiculous, and even then I would go to say the film stays pretty realistic to a certain extent. That's especially true in the films depiction of earths reactions to alien contact, which I found to overlay a solid idea of what the reactions would be if heptapods were to come to earth in real life.  Another thing some people may pick out as a flaw is the pacing however I would just say that at times Arrival is just slow paced instead of being badly paced. Mfs gotta get there attention span up if they think a sci-fi film of this nature drags. Also it's SO worth it for the ending. Deadass had goosebumps. I truly believe if you are someone who enjoys the sci-fi genre you WILL enjoy this film.
