my partner loves the soundtrack to this one and yeah it’s a banger i love city girl and just like honey the most. movies great too im just really thrown off by how japan is shown in it.. i don’t love how the country and its people are used as props to uplift the white main characters. it’s a weird one

changed lives

weirdly underwhelming

i had nightmare like this when i was a kid, just being stuck in a place that went on and on forever so it’s natural that this scared the shit outta me. the horror in this movie is quiet and understated for the most of it, it’s in moving shadows or a door creaking open. the parts where you couldn’t see the entity really sold it for me, if anything it was less scary when it actually appeared. plus the found footage parts with a shaky analogue camera were incredible. i really like the backrooms but i grew up on creepypastas, watchmojo top ten saw traps and the scp foundation so i think that can be expected. kane parsons please now make the oldest view feature length.
