Tangled

Tangled is honestly one of my favourite Disney films ever. Easily 5 stars. It’s just such a fun watch from start to finish. The animation still looks amazing, especially the lantern scene. That part never gets old. Rapunzel is such a great character. She feels really real, like she’s excited about everything but also figuring things out as she goes. And Flynn Rider is just funny without trying too hard. Their back and forth is probably the best part of the whole movie. Also, Maximus (the horse) is weirdly one of the funniest characters in it. The songs are really good too. “I See the Light” is probably the standout, but the whole soundtrack fits the movie so well. I’ve seen people talking about the live-action Tangled that’s supposedly coming and I’m kind of excited but also a bit nervous. The original is so good that it’ll be hard to match. If they get the casting right and keep the same kind of humour and heart, it could actually be really good but it’s definitely one of those films where they can’t mess it up. Overall, Tangled is just one of those films I can rewatch anytime and still enjoy it. It’s funny, it’s sweet, and it just feels good to watch.
