Underground

I've only seen two of his movies, but Emir Kusturica is already becoming one of my favorite directors. No one makes movies like him. This movie is so full of life. Every shot in this movies oozes of life. The Underground World feels so lived in. It maneges to really make the viewer believe in what they're watching despite the extreme absurdity. The movie is funny and tragic and amazing! So much happen in the 3 hours and I enjoyed every second of it. It's such an epic movie, both in scale, but even more so in story. The ending is great and there are some of the best shots ever in the last part of the movie. This is just such a great movie and I can't wait to watch more of Emir Kusturica!
