Burning
I want to vanish just like that sunset.
Burning was a challenge for me, once I got what was really going on the movie was already over. I was literally blown away about how brilliant this movie is and at the same time hate everything about it, take me for an example, at the end I was completely pissed and actually angry with it. But yet I found this movie so interesting and challenging, that made me realise it had totally tricked me. And the more I think about it, more I love it.
The director really said, "I'll give you answers and questions to things you don't even realised were happening, and I never resolve a single thing completely."
Burning its a movie that will make you think about it the whole day or night you have watched it, this movie will make you look like a fool. I couldn't recommend this experience enough. Go watch it.
Steven Yeun here is brilliant, one of the bests performances I've seen in a while.
This movie slowly gives you a punch right in your face, it really hurted me. God damn what a master piece.
Oh god I'll stay the whole night thinking about this movie, everything here has a catch.
I don't even need to talk about ambiguity here, because it's literally the key for the movie. But the way it was written and made, made my jaw drop. I found everything truly fascinating.
The sunset dance scene is pure art.
A movie that lets the viewer decide what to truly belive, one of the bests directing pieces I've seen. And obviously I have a lot of doubts, but in a way I created my own Burning.
Couldn't have loved a film more.
Now I really need to read the book, Murakami is a writer I really wanted to get into, this might be a sign.
If you have watched Burning, and don't know some things or is confused, please give this video review a try. (video review)
