Obsession
Very impressed with how the movie was able to balance comedy and horror, with the comedy being awkwardly implemented in a way that enhances the overall tension and suspense of the movie.
I am also absolutely blown away by Inde Navarrette's terrifying performance, with her unnerving bodily movements and mannerisms, amplified by the film's usage of shadow to create some of the most memorable scenes of the movie.
So, so unbelievable that this is the same actress from Superman and Lois. I genuinely hope she continues to star in more film.
Despite the terror her character brings, the real evil lied within Bear. Although not knowing the implications of his wish initially, Bear still continuously uses Nikki for his own selfish desires even after knowing her distressing state - a testament of men exploiting and denying the agency of women through their own entitlement.
