Transformers One

First of all everyone knows I’m a sucker for outrun/synthwave aesthetics, and the cybertron visuals absolutely deliver. The shots of Iacon and the surface are amazing. The music is incredible that blends off transformer themes with very synthy music. The fight scenes use their transformations SUPER creatively and the action is top notch. And finally, though the plot is expected and the fallout between megatron and Optimus is inevitable, I will never get enough of the friend to enemy cliche. The fact that this movie is flopping in the theaters is mind boggling to me.
