Frankenstein
I absolutely love and adore this film! The way the director interpreted the story of mary shelley's frankenstein was so charming and the acting was incredible. I love gothic literature and just watching this film reminded me why I love it. It's so poetic and meaningful aswell as having powerful messages. There is one message I think is so powerful, it's to never play God. It doesn't matter if you aren't religious, the message still stands that we as humans should not be capable and make these choices as it's not natural and ethical to bring back the dead and the story of frankenstein shows the consequences of making these decisions. I'm sure mary shelley would be proud of this film and I recommend this movie to anyone that likes gothic literature or just gothic/dark films in general.
