Whiplash

Was it a good ending or a bad ending? I think is both On one side Andrew got the respect from Fisher, played the song correctly and all, this should be a happy ending, right? Well not exactly. Even if he got that respect what did it cost him? He was completely brainwashed to the point where he had a fckng car accident and still showed up to play. After he testified against the teacher he manipulated him again to playing one more time. When he came up it was actually a trap and when he had the chance to quit and possibly resolve this in another way he played just to make Fisher happy. It's such manipulary behavior that for me it's hard to belive that this is a happy ending. Edit: now i see its wasn't to make Fisher "happy." It was to prove to himself that he could do it. Nevertheless he will probably continue on this cicle of abuse.
