oh to travel europe to find the love of my life. this was a very lovely watch. i'm all for claire & lorenzo's story. sophie and charlie were cute as well, but i just can't stand the cheating plot. but i guess things just happen. victor and her simply couldn't work out. and meeting charlie helped her to sort her feelings out. aside of that, everything about this film is simply beautiful. i wish i could work as the secretary of juliet as well... literally my dream job </3

hey, i finally watched fight club.... first watch and ngl it was a bit confusing. the whole time i was just thinking what the heck is this film even about. ig i just don't really enjoy watching men beating each other up... so i was looking for spoilers and got spoiled real bad about the ending, though still got goosebumps over it. on the real talk about anti-consumerism, oh how much i love the idea of project mayhem to abolish every capitalist building and create chaos in the society. capitalistic society has won over us today. every single thing has turned into consumerism. it has become a substitute of identity, meaning, even human connection. every hobby turns into consumerism. the system is created to turn everything into buying things to find happiness. to build personal identity. about how i need to have and collect this and that to make me happy. it truly is a trap. and somehow it has become a lot worse years after this film was made. but there was also an irony of the supposed liberation of project mayhem that ended up becoming just another form of conformity, which is also a great way to talk about how the paradox of destroying a system just to create another system is also a real danger here. i probably i need a rewatch.

romcom with a good balance of rom and com. the script was done quite well. it brought me back to the feeling of watching early 00s romcoms. owen was simply lovely, i cannot help but to love his character. halfway through it, i couldn't really enjoy emily's interaction with owen because of her ‘secret’. i guess this type of plot where someone is basically using the other isn't really my cup of tea, but this was still pretty much enjoyable. and oh, i did end up tearing up a bit at the confession scene. this film brings me so much joy. i think it really is the kind of romance people have been yearning for. bring back more good romcoms.

this film was quite well-done in regards of the gore and comedy aspects. it was basically a gorefest, beware if you have trypophobia. there were also a lot of satire regarding idn's political condition, though i wouldn't label it as a political film... it was entertaining. ibarat imajinasi liar yg paling absurd divisualisasikan hmmm. another worthwhile mention adalah performance aming. gokillllll. we didn't even realize it was aming while watching until we looked up the cast's names.
