5cm/s My 4 favorites are films that I deeply connected to. Films that managed to changed me as a whole and made me fall in love with cinemas. Some of it may not be the best films ever made, but they're certainly have a special place in my heart.

NO BEAR DON'T BLAME YOURSELF 😭😹 Obsession is exactly what people tell you it is, and more. It's a simple-perhaps even clichéd -story that is so wonderfully executed and beautifully performed that it outshines many other films. Don't expect this to be particularly scary, but rather disturbing, awkward, and cheerfully unhinged. It is one of those films whose creepiness I enjoy, and I hope it keeps getting the recognition it deserves-and more. Never cook again son

GEM ALERT ⚠️⚠️⚠️💎💎💎⚠️ **It's like a maze, it just goes on and on.** Such an intriguing movie is the best description I can give, when I saw this was revealed having known the lore prior and seeing the original Kane Parsons The Backrooms: Found Footage short films on YouTube I knew that this was in good hands and that they made the best decision, which they did There are some absolutely brilliant pieces of camera work in this film, in particular the found footage sequences which are some of the most unsettling and creepy moments I've seen, they didn't go on as long but they were perfect for the movie itself, also it wasn't as scary as I thought it was going to be which I obviously don't mind The production design is top tier, to feel as though you're inside these liminal spaces were incredibly done and looked fantastic, the twists were good and I have to say that ending when you piece together what the backrooms are, being forgotten memories, lost things and the ideas that they collate was just so so good to see However, I definitely feel there was times were it felt a little sluggish and could've used some more horror elements better but those are just tropes of mine For a 20 year old director this was just simply stunning when you get to see what he created, good on A24 to give him that opportunity and the fact in cinemas we have two young filmmakers just dominating the box office right now is just amazing. All started with one photo.

Superman may be fictional, but the hope he brings is real.
