Conclave
*”Certainty is the great enemy of unity. Certainty is the deadly enemy of tolerance. Even christ wasn’t certain at the end”*
Wow. Better than I expected. Watching this the same day as the pope of the catholic church has passed away truly deepens the meaning of the movie, as conclave is a ceremony soon to happen. Also as someone who is obsessed with any and all history related, this was extremely entertaining. Ralph Fiennes was truly impeccable and his character was perfectly in the middle with his morality between righteouness and his own selfishness. I dont understand the hate the ending got either, since I tought it perfectly wrapped the idea of doubt and uncertainity needed in the church. Visually beautiful. Edward Berger really outdid himself with this🙌
