Deadpool & Wolverine
My spoiler free review (if you saw the trailers) of Deadpool & Wolverine:
Eh. Good cameos and solid jokes. Wolverine was probably the best part. Deadpool was lacking. Dude was making "woke mob" jokes. It feels like Disney did what they've done best for the last few years and taken a great outlier property and made it into multiverse slop.
I don't care about the TVA. I didn't watch Loki. I haven't seen the X men movies in the last 10 years. I saw Logan, I saw Deadpool 1/2, and I'm a casual fan of the various X men cartoons.
It's the Disney formula of "villain you don't care about unless you saw 10 other shows/movies and even then you probably still won't care", universe ending stakes because Disney can't have any stakes lower than that anymore, and cameos. So. Many. Cameos. Every new character that comes on screen doesn't show their face for 30 straight seconds. I did freak out when I saw Gambit, though
It gets:
2.8/5 stars and a hearty disappointed coach pat on the back cause you tried your best but your best wasn't great. (I do like the gay tension between DP and Wolvie though 💕💕💕)
