Top horror movie of the year

What was the point of making the movie about consent and it being heavy handed throughout the whole movie  Just for the bride to end up being with someone that didn’t really care about her consent, lied to her throughout the whole relationship and revived her for only his selfish needs?? It’s kind of really infuriating that throughout the whole movie it talks about the abuse that women go through and how men use women has objects just to ignore the weird stuff that Frank does and rewards him at the end.
