The Fall

*“I thought he was Spanish.” “No… he was French.”* This movie felt like being told a bedtime story by an angel, except the angel was depressed and I ended up crying instead of sleeping. I fell in love right from the opening shot. The cinematography is breathtaking, with wide shots that feel like poetry in motion. The way the story blends fantasy and reality is so captivating, deeper than I ever expected. And Lee Pace is just devastatingly beautiful in this movie. I’m completely obsessed with him in that eyeliner.
