“Hey Hachi, no matter how much or how often people hurt each other, loving someone is never a waste.” No anime ever made me feel the way Nana made me feel. It is so good that it would be the first thing I’d watch if I lost all my memories. The anime draws the feelings more than anything. It is so depressing. I remember being mentally affected by Haitchi’s relationship and how she was manipulated. I found it absolutely iconic that even though those two girls loved each other, they didn’t think about dating—the best representation of a platonic relationship. Nana deserves more recognition!! Although Nana is for all groups, I'd highly suggest it for girls between the ages of 18 and 25.
