Oldboy, what a nightmare.
this movie doesn’t philosophically, MORALLY makes sense, but it made me feel things. this is the type of movie that will have my ass seated. the type of movie you’d HAVE to recommend in order to win my heart. i loved how it made me question every bit—every scenes, every monologue, every whatever the fucks going on 😭 it felt like a rollercoaster ride of genres that’ll make you feel every emotion mixed with disgust, curiosity, and confusion. the ending gave a heck of good symbolism that honestly had my eyes glued for WHOLE 20 minutes. i loved every ending, but y’all won’t catch me wishing for THAT kind of fatherly love 😭 this is MY cinema. my heart screams for these kind of movies.
