Sinners

This is one of those movies that I can see myself watching multiple times just so I can take EVERYTHING in. On the surface it might just look like any other horror, but in reality it's a mix of many different genres that perfectly balances good storytelling with deep history from all different walks of life. Visually it's absolutely stunning, and the setting only compliments it artistically even more. Every character on screen does an amazing job, and Michael B. Jordan destroys it in playing two similar yet distinct twins with their own personalities. There's a lot of soul, the music is a character in itself, and there's so much you can take away. We need a lot more unique projects releasing just like this.
