Nolan's da GOAT but it's probably not his best (That's reserved for my true love, Inception). Also, I love the final edit, which is amazing at showcasing that The Odyssey is indeed an epic regardless of what Lame haters say. It may seem like Nolan has stuck with his usual style of thought-provoking (but still blockbuster, beautiful films), but you can see here (and with Oppenheimer as well), his foray into real human emotion, which here is displayed in Odysseus' guilt about "destroying" peace. This emotion was showcased amazingly by Matt Damon, whose best work may indeed be this movie. Furthermore, Nolan contrasts the chaotic nature of Oppenheimer with a structured epic, with the latter taking some elements from the prior, especially in the supernatural parts of the movie. Thus, you can see the Nolan is da GOAT :D The score, written by Görranson, was perfect. It was sufficiently "blockbustery" enough, yet still had some components which really represented Ancient Greece. I could go on and on but I cba so yeah overall an awesome af movie, sorry for the chaotic review lol

A classic rom com

Gonna go binge watch all of Scorsese's films
