Rope

really good film. hitchcock wanted to make it all filmed at once but at the time you couldn’t film too much without the film getting too long to watch so he cut it a few times but i think its blended in really well. Its definitely more gripping then you think it will be, like most pf his films, i like the difference between phillip and brandons character and how they never actually show whats in the chest. The slight characterisation of all the characters is small but very effective and builds the film. i love.
