My Mister

This movie really shows the human feeling to want to protect and nurture. Dong-hoon took Ji-an under his wing and looked after her such as others with no doubts about her character. He saw her as more than just a criminal or someone that got brought up rough and stayed that way. He allowed her to be something more. Then same the other way around Ji-an saw him as more than just a husband being cheated on and a sad life in the same job for a decade. He saw him as compassionate and loving. They allowed each other to be the people they wanted to be without this restriction to being reserved.  The vulnerability this show demonstrated was so refreshing and something I think more people should aim to be like. Without this level of vulnerability it can be hard to adapt and function in today’s society but people who can be there for you no matter your past. These people are really what keeps our society moving. Everyone deserves a chance to be a better person. Everyone deserves the space to grow without some prejudice.  I really did love how this show, showed me how to love again with all my heart. So well rounded.
