I want to build a snowman. Moving with the ebbs and tides of life. This movie is captivating and well-made, definitely one of Kore-eda’s strongest films. From majority of the movie being a wholesome tale about a chosen family and how small bonds hold them all together to finding out the true reality behind it all. Yet it leaves no sour taste in my mouth and I truly hope all the Shota’s and Lin’s in the world can truly find acceptance in their upbringing.
