Interview with the Vampire
This movie is pure gothic perfection — dark, tragic, and strangely beautiful. The atmosphere, the music, the way it lingers on loneliness and immortality… it’s hypnotic. Brad Pitt’s quiet sorrow and Tom Cruise’s wild chaos are fascinating on their own, but Claudia — she’s the one who stayed with me. An immortal child with a mind far older than her face, forever trapped between innocence and despair. Every scene with her feels like a scream caught inside a lullaby. She’s haunting, heartbreaking, and achingly human.
Interview With The Vampire isn’t just about immortality — it’s about the weight of eternity, the hunger for connection, and the tragedy of wanting to live when life has already ended. It’s theatrical, yes, but also deeply sad and strangely tender. A dark fairytale that doesn’t promise comfort, only honesty.
Thank you to my dear friend Maïa for telling me to watch it — you were so right. 💗
