Ryan Gosling as a science teacher is not something I ever knew I needed. 1. He's such a nerd! It’s honestly adorable how excited he gets when he can't see into the Petrova sample & then when he realises it's a cell. 2. I loved how the film alternated between Grace's journey aboard the ship and the flashbacks leading up to the mission. 3. I definitely cried when Grace had that mini funeral for the other 2 people aboard :(. "It's so sad, yet beautiful, that even without remembering them, he cared enough to give them a proper ending. 5. ROCKYYY!! He's so cute ☹️ He even made sure that the 'tunnel' had oxygen, so Grace can breathe!! 6. A few of my favourite moments; • The Karaoke scene: *Sign of the Times *is actually strangely perfect for this movie... • The scene where they use the astrophage sampler: it is so truly **stunning**! • When they come to the conclusion: "Life is reason star not die" • When Rocky woke up!! 🥹 • When Rocky and Grace celebrate together :) • When Grace chose to go save Rocky over going home... • When the Eridians gave Grace his own little place 🫶 7. It’s so cute that Rocky is so serious about Grace going back home to Earth :(( This movie is absolutely amaze, amaze, amaze!! Cried at least five or six times...

Okay, so, second-hand embarrassment is definitely a thing, but apart from that... I really do love this movie.

Well, I see why it's considered a classic! • 10/10 music too!!

**Where do I even start...** 1. Wow, just wow. What an incredible movie; genuinely a work of art. 2. The way the movie builds up is beautiful. Multiple years pass in the beginning, and it's visualized in such a stunning way. Instead of using boring time indications, the movie uses a new and fun way to show the passage of time! 3. I absolutely loved how they recreated multiple comic covers that have appeared over the years. I adored how they made sure to pay **just** enough attention to them, but not *'too'* much to make it painfully boring. 4. Personally, one of my favourite details was how they slowly teased the 'actual' villain. The movie starts and everything is fine, Spider-Man is just doing his job and putting away bad guys. Then, they start teasing a possible villain—and you’re starting to believe that they are the one you should be looking at—with perfectly timed glances and perfectly spoken words. Eventually, something shifts in the atmosphere, and you finally realise... *the villain had been painfully obvious this whole time!* 5. FINALLY they let Spider-Man show how amazing he actually is! I am obsessed with how they slowly build up to the Spider-Man we've seen in the comics. And when he finally takes off the inhibitor and allows himself to show his true strength/power? It truly gave me goosebumps! 6. I loved how miserable Peter was at times in this movie. Don’t get me wrong though, I felt for him and I was rooting for him—but I loved it. Though, when he finally realises he's allowed to get to know people—new people, people he's been working with, old... *acquaintances—*that's such a vulnerable, yet **strong** scene and it’s incredibly heartfelt. 7. The flashbacks & memories 💔. They were beautiful, but they were c*ruel *too. They made me cry, I'll admit. They made emotional scenes even more emotional and touching scenes even more poignant. They added **so** much to the story and to the visuals, it was truly perfect. 10/10 movie—with an incredible soundtrack too!!
