Poor Things
Kinda funny how I felt inspired and desired to make the world better after watching a baby trapped in a woman's body learn more about the world, how messed up it is, and want to do something about it. Just goes to show that empathy is something we all have, and most have become desensitized to feeling anything, except for Bella Baxter. It's also funny how, in the end, we all root for Bella as she tries to make an impact on the world, and I think it also reminds us that we are in control of what we can do. Not where we came from, not what we did, and not how we were. It all comes down to what we choose to do NOW. So interesting how a story like this can come from a film that feels like a fever dream. Just brilliant (I may have understood the film differently).
