what a piece. this is one of the most intimate films i’ve ever seen from a director. this film is about the recollection and the overbearing nature of the difference between death and future, and how they are both needed. this film tells us to live with a forward focused mind and leave the past in the past. simultaneously, it’s telling us that death is inevitable and will always be with us. this was hustons last film and him knowing that is what makes this special to me. He didn’t make this film for anyone but himself and his family. i respect him so much for that. more than just the meaning of the film everything about it fantastic the music was amazing and the acting was so natural. every characters dialogue felt as if they were told to act like themselves. the way the actors were directed and told to position themselves for a shot is also fantastic and the subtler overlapping of characters to symbolize power and to show who really has the stage in each given moment. the ending was so bleak and left me with a hole in my stomach of dread and acceptance at the same time. i know im going to pass away and things i love will as well. this film taught me a lot and really struck me personally.

it was amazing and the score was surprisingly so good. the plot was amazing and the writers did a phenomenal job. the story was perfectly structured. one of the best toy story’s everrrrrr imo

i think this film is such a masterpiece i think it doesn’t age well but i think that’s why i love it it’s so cool and the story is very compelling and i love that about it. the sets and the music are just fantastic cristina raines is so fantastic in this film and i think she killssssss this role. i think she plays this broken and scared character very well and she is great even with her very minimal facial expressions

this film has such a high potential. i loved the score and the sound design buttt the audio of people talking was very off timing and just made the line delivery worse the visuals were awesomeeeee but as far as a story im not getting much or at least nothing that you can piece by piece tell a story
