One Day
Just saw « one day » in one day. One sitting.
It was absolutely beautiful, touching, moving, incredible. A 14-episode poem about friendship, love, youth, about life. There is so much to say and still, I can’t find the words to describe how this made me feel.
“yeah, but we don’t see all the important scenes because of how it was made”, yes and what if this was the beauty of it all? Feeling the emotions instead of seeing them, understanding what impacts certain choices have on our lives, and most importantly, just thinking about it. About it all. And about life mostly.
The most touching part and the most important part of the show wasn’t even the show in itself. Not the beautiful story, not the amazing music, not the great actors or even the incredible montage. It was the message, the emotions, the feelings, the fact that you can relate to it all, that you can think about it, and feel. Feel the love, feel the friendship, feel the pain, the happiness, the relief, the shock, the hope…
After finishing the show I was, surprisingly, just a mess, thinking about my life and what awaits me. Thinking about future encounters, travels, pains, and joys. That’s the beauty of it. That’s its power and that's what makes it such a great show. A piece of art. Like I said, a poem. An ode. A tribute.
