Before Sunrise
this movie really catered to the hopeless romantic in me. i wonder if, as it happened, they thought, 'i will be thinking of this for the rest of my life'; because i know i would. I feel as if watching this movie really abolished my forced responsible character and brought to life the spontaneous romantic one? but i have no idea if this stuff happens in real life, or just in movies and books. even though it seems so real? a question for the ages
i also noted the reality of the relationship, their differing attitudes to life. her playful, innocent, in-awe reactions to everything; his cynical, realistic statements. it's interesting to me; whether this would slowly start to grate on her or whether she finds it hilarious, to share different opinions. more so, are these attitudes products of their competing nurture or do they arise from the canonicaly male vs female dichotomy?
