This thriller quickly captures the prolonged state of occupation that Israel has had over Palestine and displays a story of romance, friendship and betrayal occurring within. There were many beautiful shots and scenes showcasing the country and how the people and nature of community is strong amongst Palestinians in the Westbank. A great ensemble who intertwine with another and many twists and changes with a very realistic nature of uncertainty which dives into the true heartbreaking events that are reflected. A story which fuelled rage and anger and triggered so many emotions within especially given the climate of what is occurring currently. The resilience shown is strong and love being shown in a multitude of ways is what keeps this film going throughout in what Omar does.
