HOLY SHITTTTTTT THIS WAS TERRIFYING I ALMOST PEED MYSELF THIS WAS SO SO SO GOOD Such an original horror movie oh my god. everything was amazing literally would not change a thing. I had super high hopes and this went above and beyond all of them. I was sweating because I was so scared. Genuinely so so so good like oh my god. Dude what the fuck. I’m in shock. This is a new top 4 fave, Curry Barker please never stop making horror movies holy fuck.

ok like beautiful cinematography, outfits, and amazing title card. The actors are also very good. I will give them that although I kept thinking how amazing it would’ve been if Dev Patel was Heathcliff… like it would have been SOOOO much hotter.  But Jacob Elordi is a very good actor and he does have very good range. I will give him that but I don’t know I have like questions. Why did they take out catherine‘s brother? Why did they make the father the abusive one? isn’t the whole point of Wuthering Heights the way that Cathy haunts Heathcliff? I feel like this movie should’ve said inspired by Wuthering Heights. The music wasn’t even that good (I’m sorry charli xcx). It was sooo much tamer than the ads and trailers made it out to be… as someone who used to be in a 24/7 bdsm relationship yall do not know ball at all and honestly we should probably not normalize those types of relationships anyways they fuck u up. And the dom is typically awful and terrible, which they could have made Heathcliff be more that. Just dropped the ball.  Also where is the gothic feel???? There was so much color (not that that is a bad thing) but aren’t the moors supposed to be kinda gothic? And isn’t the novel gothic i mean there are ghost and ghost stories and shit, at least I’ve heard that I’ve never read the novel.
