Watched this opening night. Good stuff. I read the Odyssey as required reading freshman year of high school and really enjoyed the classic story shown on the big screen. Overall I really liked this. @Caroline Collins really captured a lot of my questions and thoughts in her review. Namely my biggest greievance is how long the movie was — I feel as though it really makes this a hard one to rewatch without losing interest.

was kinda nervous going into this bc i don’t love horror but i didn’t think it was as scary as @carol did. the world building and acting was amazing. i also really enjoyed the music throughout the movie. the ending made me really sad but it tied the story together so nicely. all in all really loved this!

okay was liking for the most part but they reallyyyyyyy lost me in the second half. i found myself just defending edgar the whole movie i feel kinda bad for him. jacob elordi ily tho @carol
