Hamnet
there is one scene where emily watson, mary in the film, delivers this gut-wrenching monologue. i cant quote it word for word however i remembered she spoke about how quickly life can change and how anything you are given can be taken in an instant. that monologue from her was one of those moments in the cinema where everything falls silent, where i feel like im the only person in the world. those moments in films are rare but so moving. though she poses a harsh truth of the delicateness of the life we live, and how every moment we share with our loved ones must be savoured, it also makes you consider how you live your life and the pure luck we have being able to live it like we do. emily watson delivered this monologue to perfection, her demonstation of grief and inner courage felt so purely authentic. i was geniuenly blown away by how beautifully raw this film was and moved by the incredible acting in it, 10/10. fucking amazing.
