Yea I went into this because Stanley Kubricks name is attached but holy shit what an emotional story, anytime Spartacus opened his mouth it swept me away. It really was that good, even if there were goofy moments or the story dragged it deserved to fully tell the story it was trying to tell with the emotional impact it was trying to deliver. “Death is the only freedom a slave knows.
