I might get in trouble for this one but it didn't land a satisfying punch or give some good scares. I think its mainly because I've been inundated with backrooms and liminal space media for the last 6 years that it doesn't feel eerie or unnerving anymore. But let it be known, Kane Parsons directed tf out of this and the acting was phenomenal. Chiwetel Ejiofor is brothers with Paul Giamatti with how he delivers lines in this.

Ebert is right and I do feel ashamed. But sometimes you just need unethical comedy.

On second watch: yep damn good
