Wicked

I only recently started getting into wicked but the musical and this movie are very amazing and it shows perfectly the different dynamics between Glinda and Elphaba and how they contrast with each other despite them both clearly wanting the same thing and you can see very clearly how Glinda is only herself around Elphaba and the moments between Elphaba when she realises that she has a friend who doesn’t care what she looks like made me cry because of how complex their relationship is because of the fact Elphaba is an outspoken person who wants change whereas Glinda also wants that change but she has to be perfect and she needs to be beloved by the whole of Oz.
