Manic
“Manic” is a film that shows the reality of living with mental illness. It’s not cool or easy like it’s sometimes portrayed on social media, in truth, only those who constantly struggle with it can understand. It’s not easy to find meaning in life, and I believe nobody achieves that 100 percent, but violence or self-sabotage won’t solve that feeling of not belonging. I think that’s the main point of the film.
But obviously, for me the best part was seeing a mosh pit in a rehabilitation center with people dealing with anger issues, all to the sound of Deftones — incredible!!
