Wow just actually a bad movie, like I actively dislike this and wont watch again. Felt like an SNL skit that had no humor the whole time. One of the only redeeming qualities was how funny the camera guy was. 2 stars is being generous I'm being serious. Plot 5/10 The only reason its not lower is simply the beginning is pretty alright, yes the reason its not lower is for just being "alright". Really I mean really dies off halfway through, just becomes sloppy and so messy it's a little difficult to follow. Characters/Acting 4.7/10 For real the worst acting so far into the MCU, actively bad from multiple different characters. Truly at the start it had some like flare and mystery too it but then everyone stopped becoming serious and it became an absolute joke. Style/Filming 4.8/10 Again so mid, Netflix lighting before it existed. No part of this actually excited me, just so basic but not in a good way Ending/Overall 4.3/10 & 4.6/10 Maybe giving it tooo much love.

***Spoilers*** How on Gods green earth is this a 92% on Rotten Tomatoes, listen I quite enjoyed the film but what the heck (Marty Supreme is a 93%). Starting to realize how inaccurate Rotten Tomatoes scoring system is. Genuinely there's no way they saw this and went "Oh sure its nearly perfect" (Again I actually really was entertained for a good bit of it but wayyyyy too high) Plot 7.1/10 I was really interested on how they kept the like mystical land a secret and had you wondering. Sometimes in the middle it got a little eh besides that fairly well made movie. TBH didn't really care for the wrestle arena side plot. Characters/Acting 6.5/10 Definitely not its best feature, some of the emotionally driven scenes were actually bad. Not necessarily the anger bits cause they cooked in that way mainly the sad scenes just felt so bland. Style/Filming 7.1/10 Just as good if not better than the actual plot, I get the CGI is bad but the vibe is there. The temple fights were sick, ignore the CGI and its genuinely a vibe. Ending/Overall 6.9/10 & 7/10 Really cool actually how the everyone came together and started cooking (i know could be said for a ton of movies but done well). Overall better than i thought, critically overrated but whatever

Not too bad, pleasantly surprised. Thought all the family stuff was mad interesting how they are like a fake family but also not. Some of the action scenes weren't as good as they could have been, like a bit cringe and too quick and basic. Nothing too bad improved my view on Black Widow as a character tho. Plot 6.8/10 Kind of in a weird way like a humanized version of Captain America: The First Avenger & Captain America: The Winter Solider. I'll let you guys figure that one out. Surprised I haven't seen this one yet, definitely solid pacing nothing felt slow. Characters/Acting 6.7/10 Pretty much basic marvel acting but typically in an MCU movie there's someone who has that extra umph. Honestly the best way I can describe it. Loved Yelena she was so freaking funny, as far as marvel side characters go definitely a well written one. Style/Filming 5.2/10 I really thought it would be better, marvel just needed to add a little something more and it could have been amazing. The old aesthetic was super well done, Red Guardians suit is peak coloring. Ending & Overall 7/10 6.5/10 Enjoyed the ending a surprising amount, left you questioning a little bit but closed out really satisfyingly. Overall nothing peak but nothing that bad.

***Spoilers*** (yes I understand from a technical point this movie isn't perfect I get it chillll) Extremely strong 4 and a half star, I understand some people might not like it but I grew up loving Michael Jacksons music so this was fantastic. I also freaking love biopics especially music artist ones, (If you couldn't tell already from my love for A Complete Unknown and Elvis and even Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere). Just something about actually real passionate artists and seeing there life (although not always with 100% accuracy) still hits so different to me. Plot 9.0/10 Literally a story of the beginning half of arguably the most famous man ever, and it did not disappoint. Very fast paced movie, at least that's how I felt, enjoyed all of it and never checked my phone. The transition from Michael being a kid to an adult was so well timed at the perfect moment, all the stuff with his dad was genuinely scary. Absolutely loved how on stage he looks his father finally in the eyes and tells him he's done basically. 100% worth watching if you enjoy fire music and super solid acting all around Characters/Acting 9.3/10 Thought the young like Jackson 5 Michael Jackson did a phenomenal job and have only heard stuff on Jaafar Jackson who was actually mind blowing good. Some of the costars weren't the best but didn't bother me too too much. Still absurd this was Jaafar Jacksons first role, judging by the emotionally sad scenes alone I would have guessed 5+ years of acting. Joseph Jackson AKA Father Jackson was extremely good at being so like doubled sided and I loved it. Style/Filming 9.5/10 I mean its recreating one of (if not the most) popular music artist ever, and most of his cool music videos. Loved the Jackson 5 era, the Bad era and the Thriller era blended together so nicely and didn't feel messy. The family's new house is the exact style I want my house pretty much. The grainy feel the film had added so much realism too it all, made you fully engaged. Ending/Overall 8.8 & 9.2 Highly recommend if you love music, good acting, fun vibes, but also emotional depth.
