Adolescence
Originally for this review I was going to make an over the hedge joke because I saw for the description for EP 4 it said over the hedge but I don’t think that would be appropriate for this show.
This absolutely blew me away with the absolutely devastating and sad story this told each episode being one shot added to how Emersive it is and how real it all feels each episode showing how good it is.
Episodes 1 started off slow to me but the tension built up and then the end with the tape shocked me to the core like it did the dad, Episode 2 showing how it is now a days because the youth of today don’t take anything seriously which I related to because I’m only 14 and around the same age as these kids when it takes place and I think it shows the world of these kids brilliantly.
I saw episode 3 being hyped up and I definitely see why Jamie’s actor sells it so much and the fact he’s never acted before is impressive and it was chilling and scary hearing saying those things in episode 3, and Ep 4’s ending with the dad tucking in the bear and kissing it saying I’m sorry son I wish I did better made my tears drip and drip oh my goodness such a tragic story and I don’t think anything this year will be able to top it.
