the only thing i hate abt this movie that I KNEW THE fucking plottwist it wouldveeeeeeee been mush better if i didnt

all that jazz is genuinely a great performance movie when every single performance was incredible a piece of art talking abt the dancing, the acting, the energy everything was completely alive; THE choreographies itself reminded me of the style of old musical comedies and once i saw bob Fosses name in the credits it made sense its like his choreographies have this sharp seductive exhausting energy that clearly defines this movies especially; The film captures perfectly how an artist can be consummed by his art where he slowly gets destroyed bcuz of it (reminds me a bit abt the birdman movie where reality and performance start blending together around a self destructive artist obsessed with creating)also cant forget to mention the most impactful scene for me where it reflects the stages of death and acceptance through his eyes overall i cant deny there are some good wonderful scenes but it felt a bit boring tbh

such a quiet movie perfectly describing grief- the meaning of that word when it lasts with u and u cant help or beat it .u feel ur finally ok but then any small gesture memory or act coul easily ruin you like its so quiet and destructive to the soul it just feels like a lump in your throat
