The Handmaiden

never seen a film like this before, shocked me and soph to the absolute core. i would give it 5 stars if it wasn’t so extremely disturbing 😭😭😭😭 had to close our eyes multiple times. aside from that the cinematography was beautiful and the plot twist was acc absurd didn’t expect it AT ALL. the vulgarity was so intense but the whole film was so beautiful that it’s hard to believe it was directed by a man by the end
