I really did like Philip Marlowe as a character and Elliot Gould is partly the reason. Great performance from him despite him not talking that loudly which felt weird when he were distances from another character but it’s minor Sterling Hayden also had a standout performance, one of the other highlights of the movie for me Maybe it’s me cause even though overall I think the movie is good especially with its atmosphere and such it feels like there’s something missing and it didn’t really hit me the same it did for others
